I appreciate your comments @Steini though I would say my post has nothing to do with any of Paul Hopper's entities other than Imugene (IMU - ASX).

If you read my post I am not asking the Board nor management to close a deal for the sake of it. I am acutely aware of the need for trial data to evolve. I am a patient person when it comes to Imugene as a long term investment.

The purpose of my post is that others within our market are purposeful, always spelling out their goals and aspirations, jumping on the front foot to secure revenue and therein value for their shareholders. These companies position themselves for commercial success. They not only request partnerships and commercial arrangements before entering into collaborations, they demand them. Sometimes I feel Imugene become so caught up in what it is they are endeavouring to achieve from a scientific perspective they lose site of their primary goal, to create returns for shareholders.

My want is for the Board and management not to sit and wait for the world to come to them, but to move expeditiously and take on the world. Seizing commercial opportunities does not have to come at the expense of science. At times such transactions can lead to far greater rewards down the track. Smaller companies such as Imugene can ultimately benefit from the size, market presence and experience of the Novartis', Mercks's and Pfizer's of the world, as the team at CTx management have discovered. Such arrangements can enhance and extend your existing pipeline and asset base.

The one thing I know from sales, which I can say with an enormous amount of experience, is that nothing happens unless you make it happen. It's one thing to be aware of shareholder expectations, it's another to deliver on them. There are many people who can open doors, it's closing them that counts. Setting a clear and concise commercial pathway for the market to comprehend and digest is one of if not the most important cog's in a company's wheel. Unfortunately this is one element in Imugene's game plan that has been sadly lacking.
