I have a nice little tip for a less negative experience on HotCopper:

If you hover your mouse over the profile pic of someone who downramps constantly and seems to only ever post pessimistic and cynical, snide remarks and who appears like clockwork to gloat when a stock you follow is dipping, whether they hold them or not and who never eats the humble pie they deserve when prices lift again - you'll see an option to ignore their posts.

Alternatively, you can go to My Account > Ignored Members and then in the text field just type:
stormer
and then click the orange button and feel the sense of calm rationality wash over the site.
