Don’t know much about rural areas do you? Plenty of causeways that run water 12 to 18 inches deep after rain. You drive through them because you know they are not deep and it’s the only way to get anywhere. No one expects to drive through deep flood waters. There was one time we had to drive through water about 2 feet deep to get a sick child to hospital. Glad it was a diesel. Relying on an EV would have been a disaster.
