Press metal has been operating for over a decade. I dont recall them ever having to deal with something like this.
the last major downtime was when electricity ran out and the furnaces solidified and they had to hack and remove the whole thing and replace it. But even that didnt take 1 whole year. And that was the WHOLE smelter going down and all the furnaces being replaced. Out of operations for 6 months...
Hopefully omh management is just being conservative.
