Hi,
Capital gains tax , and hence the discount , is irrelevant in pension phase in the fund.

Now , why would I not be entitled to a dividend from a share I bought before the ex divi date?
I would have thought the point of an ex divi date was that you aren't entitled to the divi after the date.
