I always tell the clients to bring the dog in for a booster - a once off injection, not a whole course - cost wise it's comparable to , if not cheaper to monthly cost of NSAID's - when they start limping , most come anywhere between 1-2 months , occasionally 3 monthly. I think it also depends on how advanced the arthritis is , and unfortunately a lot of clients come in with fairly advanced arthritis so the effect is short lasting .
