Regarding the joint IP...well, this is what you get working on already well known processes. It's interesting how Iggy Tan patented the kaolin process under ATC, and FYI developed its own IP, and now Alcoa has some joint IP. It's almost like everyone's got IP because it's all well known, and any increment is marginal.
