I can't see the USD plummeting. Anyone watching closely the reporting results in the US can testify that the economy is in rebound mode. If growth continues at the same pace it won't be too much longer before interest rates in the US are on the rise again, which will unwind some of the carry trade and encourage capital back into the country (adding to demand for USD).

The GS case is a blip, soon forgotten.
