thedalek you can always find plenty of reasons/excuses for not doing something and we see them printed here nearly every day. Those that get ahead in life actually go out and do it - for some it is property, some it is shares, some it is businesses and for some it is all three. Those that do nothing end up no-where. The key is people need to find the investments they like then pursue them, but they shouldn't complain to others about the merits of another investment strategy just because they don't understand how to make money in it!
