Don't stress on it mate, Personally I've got access to live charts happening through AXIS ODL Tho I beleive there should be a bunch of ForexBrokers who will give you access to test accounts for a while and with said accounts come charts...
Now when I first started playing with these gaps... I was just using IG, and thought the markets opened at 8:30 am when their charts do their stuff, and the results were still good enough for me tto think this technique/trading opp was worth pursuing... in fact if you take a look at the last three or so charts in that document, they are taken from IG charts... so are post market open but those trades were made assuming that IG charts were giving full gap info... (note the times on those charts are outta whack due to IGMarkets European base... and my lack of care in resetting them to right times)
so you can always just watch for a bit n see how it suits ya...
