I for one thought the number of holes and depth of the drills at Mt lamb seemed like it was going to cost much more than what was budgeted, but trusted that management knew what they were doing. Clearly I was wrong in trusting them and should have went with my gut.
How could they get it that wrong though? They weren't even close. Yes we knew it needed a heap of drills to potentially find something decent, I was prepared to take the risk with that many holes, but if I knew the program was only going to be like half what we were told, I never would have invested.
Its a monumental stuff up by management.
Mac creek and Jean Elson should be front and centre now and do a decent shallow and cheap drill program at each to determine which project to focus on.
