Monday gaps can be tempting, but it depends what time your broker opens. GoMarkets doesn't start until 8AM EST, whilst IG is at 6AM. A lot happens in that time. I reckon you're best waiting until Hong Kong & Japan open on a Monday.
Really, the best liquidity kicks in late arvo Melb/Syd time, when European traders get to their pods and the Asian markets have momentum.
