It's not often I get a real belly laugh from a company update. One of the good things about giving up on AZY is that I no longer have to pick through the dross trying to find a small nugget of something valuable.

Spin?! This announcement should get a Goebbels Award! Makes my washing machine look lazy. I especially like the imagery of AZY and NCM in tough negotiations for the land, with AZY finally emerging as the victor to "regain" it. Much better than NCM giving it the flick because they didn't see it as worth holding on to.

No one likes confronting uncomfortable truths, which is why we're so good at concealing them with weasel words. You know, like children don't fail at school any more, they just "achieve a deficiency". AZY is becoming really good at this. Well, they do get a lot of practice in.

Whoever wrote this release should get a job in PR, where he can make us think differently about all sorts of things. Kidnapping? No! "Temporary child relocation". Adultery? Try "consensual non-monogamy". Toxic waste dumping? – deep ocean storage. The guys at AZY could almost convince me to buy shares!
