i just can't see the situation not playing out where Ganfeng don't make a full tilt play for LLL. I don't necessarily think it will be before completion of stage 1, but once stage 1 is complete and if LLL SP still represents value why wouldn't they? They can keep the handful of key people they need to finish Stage 2 and away they go. At the end of the day, the Chinese are about making $$ not making friends and creating relationships. I don't see Ganfeng as being any different.

Why should they be a price taker when they can have more control of their own supply?

The longer the LLL SP remains subdued, the more likely this scenario is to play out and be brought forward IMO.
