If there was another offer on the table the terms would be less favourable then the one CYM turned down. You would hire lawyer's to run over the best offer first.

My guess is maybe there is another offer and it's worse.

The reason for the suspension now and not waiting until the end of the month is either because they needed to release a prospectus by that date.

Or they were worried of a leak as short interest did increase

OR they are trading insolvent right now and even if there was another offer it is unlikely CYM has any funds to pay lawyers to look over it.
