Of course the "shorts" total is the amount of shares borrowed, not the borrowed amount put on the market so there is quite possibly volumes that are being held on to, to use when the price rises to a higher level that might present an opportunity to sell down on?
Someone correct me if im wrong, but would the fact that the shorts total being so high would that suggest that the rightful owners of the borrowed shares are not calling them back, because those long term investors arent selling?
