The two things for me about dendreons us fda approval are the opening of the pathway for product,but more so dendreons product price,between $80 000 and $90 000us per patient. Now assuming the cost of a dose is $30 000 [and comes down to $15 000 with economies of scale, but i wont do the sum on that] that leaves the company with <$50 000. Assuming we treat 20% of patients out of the 75 000 that have this shocking cancer[number in australia, europe, japan, and u.s.{318 000 globally per year}]that equates to $750 000 000u.s. At a pe of 10 equals $7.5 bil us market cap. By time of commercialization i estimate 1 bil shares on market, or $7.50 per share. Now lets halve it to save fights. $3.75 per share. 18 cents per share now. Seems a long way between for a 2b and phase 3 trail in a company that is no longer blazing a new trail, and will get there much faster and much cheaper than dendreon.
I am emotionally involved and have alot riding on this. I know the first patient will be announced very soon. I know emda orphan status is ours on 2nd june and u.s. likely around same time, and our euro manufacturing setup cannot be that far away.This will be a huge year for our company. We have experienced how fast the share moves. thank goodness I wont have to buy then.
Lets give the new investors time. its too cheap. They will come.
