Mate, it is not for you to assume how much I own or don't or whether I or other mining shareholders are being greedy.

As subsequent posters point out, not much of the harvested Super Tax will find its way to infrastructure projects nor will a cent of it reach the superannuation funds of the majority of Australians working for big to small businesses. A fair swathe of the funds will fund the increased superannuation funds of a minority of Australians ie, public servants.

I am making no judgement on private vs public employees, I am just pointing out the reality collected Super Tax funds will benefit select minorities, not all Australians.

I don't believe in Govenments being efficient spenders of capital. Australia would be significantly better off if mining Companies like BHP were made to reinvest the funds "to be collected" from the Super Tax on developing new Australian projects ... the Government would win in the long term by drawing from an increased royalties base and it is obvious all Australians would benefit from that.

I wasn't wanting the money in divvies, I am happy, ney keen, to see the money reinvested in Australia and jobs/business growth.

    Cheers
    Dex
