"heavy japanese smokers have half the morbidity rate of US smokers - why?"

Great point, upmarket....and japanese are more insistant on their right to smoke. They were still smoking on flights when the US forcibly stopped it on US airlines. Japs probably still smoke. and Japs have lower incidences of other diseases & cancers than we have.....

    Some live to a 100 & smoke.
Some die at 21 and smoke.

Lots die very young & DONT smoke.....

As a smoker of now 55 years of habit & wished I didnt/hadnt, lol, my lungs are stuffed & I shouldnt smoke. Not from smoking but asbestos.....but with asbestos-related pleural plaques on my lungs, I shouldnt smoke, but I do.
Ah, well, next stop Mesothelioma & death.
But if I gave up now.....someone else would die, lol.
    What to do?
