Many who know me call me way to analytical and they are right. I guess one of the benefits of being way too analytical is to be able to put myself in someone elses shoes.
I suspect strongly that you were trying to quell your growing anxiety with an overly impassioned call for AAM solidarity. "we are the PR team" - but alas we are not!
When the realisation set in you made a decision. I won't hold that against you ;)
