neither F nor Ga bind to the cancer cells, they both emit positrons but F has lower energy, this is an advantage because it travels a shorter distance before it is annihilated by an electron to create a photon which is then detected by the scanner. The source of the photon is therefore closer to the target making for slightly higher resolution. But that advantage is immaterial.
Every source Ive looked up says pyl and psma-11 work about the same.
