Really this could have gone either way from 5.7c, it could have kept going to 6c, but decided to slide back down to 5c and under, the market only gave people a few minutes to sell the news at 5.7c and 5.6c if they wanted to sell at those prices. Wait times between news and a threat of the "R" word is what has got some investors spooked, if we are being honest many other graphite stocks don't have brilliant MCs either.

While undervalued MLS basically carries a similar marketcap to other small cap graphite stocks, but MLS do also have more cash, and MLS's WA projects may be just being valued or not even for the dirt in the middle of whoop whoop.

Another graphite stock I hold is ITM and that's currently only 33m MC, and is basically a sleeping giant with 200km of strike, so that's a sign that the market sucks at the moment lolz, when they don't even value the huge amount of graphite in the ground there.
