afternoon all,
I have no idea whether fml will take years or not to get elevated from the rookie list - but I know a couple of things
within a short period (assuming no pog crash or similar) fml will have that much free cash it will become a problem unless we do something with it. That cash is flowing NOW, and it is growing from a trickle into a good sized stream by the month. Within a year it will be quite a little torrent.
To me, that is not the sign of a rookie - it is something more than that.
So far I can only see that management have made good/great decisions and I think if they keep going the way they have then the rookie thing can't possibly last too long.
It seems to me that costs are pretty well contained when we look closely at the latest report. It also seems that we will in all likelihood spend available cash on growing the company - sooner or later a new mill somewhere I guess. All this whilst keeping a sizable chunk of cash in bank and a bit of gold held -- all sounds good.
All goldies are down, fml is no different. If fml was NOT a gold stock but was just looked at as a cash producing business with the sort of upside that fml has as a company - I would suspect the price would be closer to .50c rater than 6c ------- but that is the way of markets and metals.
I think for LT holders it is just a matter of waiting - if we can be left alone to do what we do (and damm well) then fml will look after us very well in the medium term - let alone the long term.
Call it a rookie -------- I don't give a damm -- just don't change things --------- it is working very nicely.
At 5 or 6c --------- just keep buying when you can.
And for those who don't want to buy until the selling is over --------- well??? I would rather pay 5c than 20c, any day of the week. The point is that if you wait until the market becomes logical -------- the train will be long gone and well into it's journey.
You can buy 1m now for about $53,000 ----- that same 1m will cost you $200,000 at .20c ---------- how many can you afford then??
Have a good arvo Pinto
