I wonder how long the "dog ate my homework" type excuses will fly.

They have done this all of their own accord.

How do you expect sales to pick up when products have been launched with missing features.

Half-baked products result in poor public reviews and negative customer feedback on socials and ultimately brand devaluation.

This is on top of the other drama going on.

What's more, fully functional products have been discontinued in favour of the newer half-baked ones.

For example, not long ago, Nikon announced the Wireless Timecode sync capability thru Atomos... but it doesn't properly work on the newer Connect products and they've since discontinued the Sync module on which it did work. Other third-party hardware that previously worked fine with the Wireless timecode sync feature no longer works.

How's that for building up brand value and a new revenue segment through this nascent ecosystem?


They keep shooting themselves in the foot with poor decisions and both customers & shareholders ultimately suffer.
