You could be right acw, but I personally don't think the market expects anything to happen between Tesla and Novonix in the next fortnight. Momentum is building for a breakout above $1.6 in coming days, prior to a VW announcement, imo. It seems CPI peaked in Aus in Dec so that's going to start to reduce a little bit of headwind.
i think Tesla are a lock to sign an offtake with NVX in the next 18-36 months. I can't see how they will achieve their targets without NAM (and probably nvx cathode too). I'd love anybody to tell me how Tesla are going to ramp to 2030 without NAM, seriously.
I think Elon is going to drive home the message of how much battery material is needed by Tesla and the whole industry. That should give NVX(and several others) a wee boost if people are paying attention.
Should be an interesting show no matter what!
