Hi m ... yes, the Lib party-room needs to have a serious talk with itself and flush out the 'Howardesque neo-cons' currently led by the mad monk.

IMHO ... Turnbull should return and be offered the leadership having rebirthed as a 'liberal' Liberal Party according to the Menzies tradition.

The pendulum has swung wildly from the far-right under Howard to far-left under Rudd and Aussies will always vote for the middle ground if offered the choice.

As things stand now only the Greens stand to win ground from the protest vote as they did in the last election.
