Let's revisit this thread when the election is over and Rudd has been given another 3 years.
I agree he is not the right person to lead this country but neither is Abbott. Abbott could not deliver an idea or policy even if it hit him in the face. I'm sure we can all list at least 10 laughable Abbott ideas or policies in the last 6 months.
Rudd like any other Labor government in the past plays Robin Hood. Who has asked to pay back the debts? It's not the average Aussie. Their taxes have been reduced and will be reduced further next Tuesday. Its the big miners who makes billions of dollars. Do I agree with it? No. There are other solutions out there.
Interest rates are going up, debt is climbing, people will be turning to Kevin Rudd.
Howard and Costello. Let me give you an example. Bring in the Medicare surcharge in 1997. Single people earning over $50,000 and families earning over $100,000 with no private health cover were liable to pay an extra 1% medicare. That figure stayed the same until Kevin Rudd changed it. $50K was a lot of money in 1997, but not 2009. A lot of people had to pay a surcharge because of Howard and Costello not realising this figure should have been indexed annually.
Wake up people Labor are bad, but are Liberal any better?
I would like to disclose I'm a swing voter. I vote for whoever has the policies to suit this country.
