Remember the world needs 8 new mines the size of escondida the next 10 years to balance future supply and demand.

At the moment that is a hopeless senareo.

We are in more hot water than many think going forward.

It is estimated that 150b needs to be spent developing these, but no money can be spent if they are not there to develope.

Now the war in Ukraine will stop within this 10 years, but when it does I believe 80% of all infrastructure will be destroyed.

The estimates on copper demand do not take into account the millions of tonnes of copper pa to rebuild that country.

I bet when they rebuild, it will all be green energy, why not if you basically have to start from scratch.

Present mine supply without new mines is going to fall also, increases in resources have only been achieved via lower cut off grades.

Some to 0.2%. Cu. So reserves of copper are a little fake as its all getting to be low grade.

Ontop there is a weather cycle change mid this year, elnino / elnina.

This could cause water shortages in Chile and Peru

So we have many inputs into copper stability at play.

All Spq needs to do is discovery a porphyry that gives plus 500m tonnes of ore, I believe larger than that based on 2km soils and surface to 900m.

Remember what's found is secondary minerals. Rock wall, but also maybe some scarn.

Bottletree does not need to be massive, if cockie creek boosts resources to greater than a few hundred millions of tonnes of ore.

Over at Cadia. Its not one massive deposit like escondida, but many mid sized that give it tonnage.

I believe this us what greenvale will be. A few copper pits, maybe a few ni and gold ones.

All feeding one plant.

So news from Spq if discovery will greatly boost cap, mums and dads, most investors hear are irrelivant in the long term setup, reason is big money will be, 20m plus share cap larger holders.

Anyways i have added twice this week, if it falls which I doubt, I'll add more as I buy every 2 weeks, irrispective of the sp.

I do not buy like this on all my investments, only long term ones where I want large qty averaged out with a low set price.

Im either stuppid or smart doing this. I also still have cash if needed.
