dividend?, page-8

Hi mooraoolbark, I've also taken into account the imputation credit, and grossed up the dividend.

    so the calc. inputs are:
    price: 4.10
    expected div/pa: ~0.21
    expected franking: ~100%

The grossed up dividend is: 0.30/pa (assessable component), and therefore 0.30/4.10 gives a yield of 7.32%/pa (before tax).

Obviously the beauty of the imputation system is tax already paid by Co. is a credit to the shareholder & that makes our after-tax yield attractive as well: 6.73%/pa.
