Can someone explain how this shorting/ buying at low price happens? For example State street is a substantial holder, holding 5% or more. But their shares are spread across multiple banks like HSBC, BNP etc who own collectively 36% of CXO shares. So probably these big banks are doing the deals? Remember these are all overseas banks and they have bags of shares to play around with.
