Australia’s Woodside Energy could be the next big oil and gas player to set foot in Namibia’s Orange basin, the hottest offshore exploration play in the world at the moment, with its eyes on a potential multi-billion barrel resource.

The acreage, which is operated by Australian junior Pancontinental Oil & Gas, hosts a huge lead — partly covered by 2D seismic data — called Saturn, which could hold billions of barrels of oil."
