Possibly for the following. With the elements in Canada.. Getting ready made factory to fit out would be a huge advantage.

The Sayona company could buy the site of the Resolute Forest Products newsprint mill in Amos.
This was said Monday by the Quebec director of the Unifor union, Daniel Cloutier, who was in Amos to meet his delegates from the region.
Asked to comment on the lack of recovery projects for the Amoss plant, Mr. Cloutier replied that according to his information, Sayona, a mining company which is preparing to produce lithium in La Corne, has made an offer to buy for this factory closed since April 2020.
What is currently on the table is the Sayona group which would like to buy the property. We know that the rest of them, their bread and butter, is not the forest industry, neither near nor far. It's the minerals, it's the electric battery industry , he first said.
Daniel Cloutier says he got this information directly from Resolute during a meeting with CEO Rémi Lalonde last January. He expects a decision in the spring.

Now Sayona is doing the usual checks. They [its leaders] will confirm soon if they intend to continue the purchase or if they stop there. Obviously, when they make their decision, that's where we can have meetings "We want to make sure that this is a promising project for the city and for the region in terms of jobs," said Mr. Cloutier.
Resolute would also have confirmed to him that he has no other recovery project for the Amoss newsprint factory or potential buyers from the forestry sector. The factory employed over 150 people when it closed.
No confirmation
Both Sayona and Resolute Forest Products refused to confirm the information. Sayona only admitted to studying different possibilities on the territory without wanting to say more.
It should be noted that Resolute maintains discussions with multiple stakeholders about several projects. It would not be appropriate to comment publicly on any of these discussions , Resolute spokesperson Louis Bouchard said in an email.
