Wasn't the drop in the initial offer price from $9.00 to $8.90 to factor in the dividend payment, so no further discounting effect. Considering the Brookfield consortium are still in the game might suggest that the confidence level of passing financial and regulatory hurdles is pretty high, hence I would expect the SP to be nudging much closer to the new offer price, say getting closer to $8.50. Just IMHO
