    "It's unlike other rare earth projects, which are often in rocks and involve a lot of crushing and blasting, which can be quite noisy," she said. "In terms of noise and what we can expect, there are so many different scenarios and that's what we're working through in the mining plan, and that will form part of the application."

    Currently, the world is highly dependent on rare earths supply from China. AR3 is so far the only real low-cost source for supply chain diversity that can compete with China as we head to a green future. If, manufacturers are to learn anything from the COVID disruption to supply chains, it is that resilience and secure raw material from sovereign-trusted countries like Australia is their only hope in an increasingly geopolitical world.

    Clay-hosted projects like AR3's Koppamurra are going to be rare.
