My first post on HotCopper having found it by searching for info on the Tesla announcement after seeing ARU plummet today. I've held ARU shares for several years in the hope of a substantial long term gain.

The company website has info on what they're up to, but the most interesting thing in the near future is the FID due this month. The Final Investment Decision is the point in any mining proposition where the company formally decides that the whole project is likely to be profitable, worth going head with and triggers the major investment in capital plant etc. In spite of all the years of development, this formal decision has not yet been made for this project.
I'm assuming that at some point soon there will be a trading halt pending an announcement and that will be the FID. The effect on the share price will be very interesting. Have major buyers already assumed a YES and the price will not move much? Or are there some potential big, but cautious, investors waiting for this decision who are willing to push the price well high? If you know the answer for sure,let me know.
