I won't argue with a lot of what's been said, except to make a distinction about the board not caring about where the SP is heading and where it is now. They do care about where it's heading, they just don't really care about where it is right now. That can be a bitter pill to swallow on the P&L right now, but it's advantageous in the long run.
The board and management will make insane money if the SP goes up to the 2028 bear or base case PT. Some will actually make a loss if it stays where it is now.
