Log interp is a bit of an art form. You need to look at multiple lines of evidence and then put the jigsaw together.
Whichever way you look at it, 400' of pay is pretty impressive.
The second link had some logs which i found useful. I look at the gamma/SP - it tells you whether youre in a sand/shale. Then i look at resistivity in the sand formations. oil is not conductive, water is conductive. drilling mud interferes, so you look at deep resistivity. and use shallow to get a sense of drilling mud interference.
