Thanks for take time to reply to my post.

But I think trying to manipulate others emotions in a forum like this is practically impossible.
I disagree. I actually think that some peoples sole purpose is to elicit emotional reactions from holders. How do I judge that? By the language and content of their contributions. I posted this YouTube clip previously and think it still holds true.

To be emotionally intelligent in a forum like this it seems one has to post rarely and keep the posts positive - eg - otherpersepctive, ecoool, yourself.
Mainly due to time restraints (I do work between 45-50 hours a week mainly because I see my work as passion and love), having a loving family, great friends, live near the Alps and like the outdoors etc. I post infrequently and mainly on weekends. My main criteria to sell my shares would be if the science doesn't work. So whilst SI and his team do ALL the hard work I chose in the mean time to enjoy all the gifts life has given me. In short, my sporadic posting has nothing to do with emotional intelligence.

At the same time trying to be a genuine truthseeker which is characterised as negativity.
To be fair you do highlight what you consider are various problems with science and rarely balance it with the fantastic results Mesoblast has achieved so far. According to you the last time was in April 2022. I totally agree with you when you say "in the end the science is the overwhelmingly important consideration". JB, is it possible that you take scientific disagreement as negativity? Some very knowledgeable posters disagree with you. In my opinion disagreement in science can improve scientific knowledge. You basically force the other person to explain and test their understanding, hypothesis and knowledge. Science is not ridged and only gives us the best possible understanding of phenomena in this point in time, and never the truth. That is were science differs fundamentally from say, religion. Hence your conversations with other posters are valuable, because it brings the best out of them and hopefully they bring out the best in you.

Being vulnerable is an emotion which brings the best out of us. According to Brené Brown vulnerability is the birthplace of creativity, innovation and change. By embracing vulnerability and taking risks we can push ourselves to new heights and make significant strides in our personal and professional lives. However being vulnerable is very difficult in our culture as it values strength and self-reliance. To cultivate vulnerability we have to practice empathy, embrace imperfection and letting go of shame and the need for perfection. Maybe science is an imperfect search for perfection? So I look forward to reading many more conversations between you and others.

@finneces I manged to read your post before you took it down. I was really saddened when I read it and cannot even begin to imagine the pain and anguish you must be feeling. I do hope that you can retire very soon, hopefully in 2023!
