I hear you, but I suspect the board are just keeping a bit of extra powder for the 2 qld bhp met mines.
doubt they end up buying them but the reduced dividend just gives them a bit of extra flex, so I’ll let this one go, but if they don’t buy the mines I would expect the payout ratio to increase significantly in 23.
