For those that had stop losses triggered, I offer this suggestion, often quoted by Peter Lynch of "one up on Wall Street" fame, he says he has never seen a stop loss that hasn't been triggered at some point.
The main reason for this is that brokers know how many shares there are out there with stop losses and how much they are set for i.e 5% 10% etc, if the brokers know this and they want your shares? the stop losses will be triggered.
I have seen no logical reason in seeing why the SP dropped so much, apart from the above!
