I guess a lot of people here would prefer that Australia goes down the same path that Greece has gone.

Sit down and think about it for a while, whats really wrong with the tax on SUPER profits??? At least the money will stay in Australia for the benefit of all Austraians. BHP can cry it all it likes but as far as im concerned i would rather the government collect more tax revenue from the large mining giants rather than the mining giants going out and losing billions of dollars on more failed projects like they have in the past and the money goes offshore. Will BHP pay more super tax in 5 years than it say lost on its MAGMA project in South America???? $3.2 billion dollars was a lot of money to lose and we as AUSTRALIANS didnt see a cent of it.

If i went for a job interview and the job offered $100k salary, and then the boss told me that if the company made some kind of "Super Profit" i would be rewarded by an increase in my salary by 60% what do u think i would say????

Oh No, you cant do that , it will destroy me.... im sorry i have to reject your job offer. Thanks for the opportunity.
