what does it all mean?, page-27

Damn, I missed Cockrobins post. Was it good news or bad news? Sorry, John435 it was a cheap shot of mine and I will try to avoid doing it again. I may well be guilty of nieive optimism but, in the absence of hard news, all we can really do is speculate.

I really do think that we ought to give the company a few more weeks breathing space, before we condemn them too much. Would it really surprise us if they had some water problems when they started drilling. Think about it, it's been a very wet, wet season in central Australia and storms were still occuring well into March. Whilst it may have dried on the surface, how much gooey mud lies just below it? So lets just assume that they may have taken a couple/few weeks to get properly started, say late March. Is it reasonable then for us to expect completed drilling and returned assays within 5-6 weeks. I would have thought mid to late May would be more likely.

Just another recollection I had from my phonecall with Peter last week (ps. he's not my mate. It was only only time I have ever spoke with him). I asked him had they or why don't they co-operate more with Cudeco, who seem to have had a lot of success with interpreting their SAM results. He was a bit evasive, which I interpreted to mean that perhaps Cudeco don't like him, which is perhaps unsurprising given Peters background with Xstrata and that GBM are still competing against Cudeco for other nearby tenements. I did, however get the feeling that Peter still maintains strong links with xstrata and may have co-operated with them. Who knows where Xstrata have been drilling between tiger and rocklands and what they might know that we don't know.
