you must not have seen many crs in your time then, I have seen heaps when there has been massive increases even when cr has been at a 20 percent discount. This has been in instances when the raise has been done for the right reasons ie a strategic acquisition or some other thing that is considered a positive for the company. In this particular case if the raise is used for the purpose of fast tracking a chemical plant of some kind then i think we could see a very large positive movement in share price over the course of the next few days. Quite possibly beyond the canadian 30c (a32.5c) supposed raising price.
