Yes the Perth Mint knew the hounds were close to their operations.
The worst scandal, for me, is the salting of physical gold, with silver, as they to try to barely maintain the 99.99% purity limits, while hoping to save about '$620,000' a year. What a catastrophic risk, in a hit and miss salting operation!
Talk about trying to save pennies, in front of a steam roller!
I just watched the 4 Corners program. WA Premier McGowan looked like he was in the headlights of a semi-trailer, approaching at high speed.
