We have all felt news any day now for months.

I feel as though I am a dead man walking, any news from this day forth will not excite me as nearly as much as it would have when I was alive and well.

As each day from August passed I have knelled against my straw bed frame and lovingly prayed for SPQ to confirm the biggest copper discovery in global history. The prayers up above should be deafening by now, alas I am now led to believe Peter may not be a holy man. For he has sinned with the lack of news.

I have seen the seasons come and gone, I have felt my skin roast in heat and wilt in the cold months all whilst staying true to the one constant I have held on to - “News Tomorrow”, “News This Week”, “News Any Day Now”.

There has been news from all around the globe, unfortunately none for the news we all desire. My bones are now brittle, my mind succumbed to chronic depression.

The news may come, although I am not the same man I was. The waiting can ruin a man and no man waits for time. I am a fool, I have waited on time when time was all that I had. Now the interest rates rise faster than the sea and off in the distant I see a rainbow with copper in sight.

Maybe tomorrow near my weary end I will reach the rainbow. Maybe tomorrow news will come.

Maybe tomorrow I won’t have anymore time to wait. Maybe tomorrow I will not care for news at all.
