up 'til now russia has fought small countries and small forces
this is the first time since WW2 the russian army has fought an all out war with a reasonably equipped reasonably large army ....and they have been shown up badly
they still have huge weapons advantages over Ukraine but it isn't enough for them to be successful

if Ukraine had the palnes , artillery and missiles that russia has this war would be moving to a close soon .
