Perth Basin energy company Norwest Energy NL (ASX: NWE) (“Norwest” or the “Company") is pleased to advise that the 385 km2 Rococo 3D seismic acquisition program has now been completed, with demobilisation of crew and equipment currently in progress.

Ensign Rig 970 has mobilised to the Lockyer-2 well location and joint venture operator Energy Resources Limited has advised that spudding of Lockyer-2 is expected to occur within the next week, subject to completion of maintenance and rig-up.

Lockyer-2 has a planned total depth (TD) of 4,451m TVDSS and the time required to reach TD is estimated at 35 days from spud.
