    "raping the land?" - jeez talk about being seriously dramatic

    what good are our precious minerals:

    - if someone cannot mine them and sell them for a decent profit,

    - in the process save the country from the GFC,

    - provides thousands of jobs directly,

    - create many more thousands of jobs for Australians indirectly via the whole supply chain that is to do with resources companies, pay huge corporate taxes already,

    - and importantly create wealth for all Australians who have an investment in these mining companies (which is practically every single working Australian through their super-funds)

    K-Dudd believes these minerals are our birth right but what good is this "inheritance" if the major miners decide it's simply not worth doing business here?

    K-Dudd needs to remember we are not a Communist state.
