Lautrec, I definately understand that these NDE's cannot be interpreted fully by someon who has never experienced one. The majority of those who experience them say that they cannot justify the experience in words as it just wouldnt get accross the unique feeling and atmosphere of the experience. Generally though, these feelings are extremely good ones, and that gives me a lot of hope for myself and those I care about.

One guy explained it like this: Imagine the most pleasurable feeling you've ever felt in your life or the moment in your life that made you the most happy. He then says that this feeling would be the equivilent of rithing pain, compared to the sense of joy and happiness and contentment felt when one is close to the "white light".

When the bible talks about God it often talks about "the light". It just makes sense to me, but most of all NDE's make sense to me because of where I was in my life when I discovered them. It was a crucial time for me.
