@Sandash I have just finished and actually published a memoir, but in truth a biography of a HC poster, whom I got to know personally and who had an interesting, also artistic life. He believes that a religious personage will appear on earth again, but not before we have been through 7 dreadful tribulations. Despite his dreadful imaginings he still loves life, loves all the big and little critters he shares his world with. - I was truly stumped and shocked at times, when trying to delve into what he wishes for this world . . . . . essentially: 'destruction' and: he/we might just get it.
I have tried to put myself into his mind, have read some of the literature he suggested - and I must say I still cannot believe there will be some kind of saviour (and also judge) for humanity - because this particular entity keeps books on everyone who has ever lived. A gargantuan task and I was unable to accept this but maybe I am not gifted enough to make such a leap of imagination.
I believe - yes - we will reap as we have sown through the centuries, having - by our selfishness, thoughtlessness, greed, messiness destroyed all the wonderful things this world provides us with - and yes, war is threatening us - this time us 'white' people - before we have managed to make war on just about every nation on earth who possessed something we needed . . . if I weren't so involved and could stand outside myself a little, I could contemplate this last act of retribution as poetic justice at work, that now, us the bullies of the globe, are falling into a ditch, we have dug ourselves.
I am too kind to really think and wish for that, but objectively speaking: we have made a right old mess of this world, haven't we? No wonder people, ordinary people are wondering if there is a last-minute reprieve or a new saviour to emerge, who could save us all.
